October 18-22 2021

All Abilities month
This month the students throughout Holy child  are learning  about what  impact  people of every ability can have on those around them.
We listened to Beethoven who gave us beautiful music even though  he could not hear the music that he made.
We did mystery boxes to understand what it would be like if we could not see.
We ended our month with a community day where we talked about our 5 senses and home each one helps us to learn and grow and what it would be like if we couldn't use one.
Here Mrs Clay is teaching our little ones emotions in Sign language.

Here Mrs. Deluca  is using mystery bags  to teach the child how the important the sense of touch is learning.
We ended the day in our class with a fun fall sensory table time. It was fill will fun fall object and smells.

The Bell Game
Here the children are walking around the circle holding a bell trying to be a quiet as they can be.
This game teaches children to be quiet and focus on the task in hand.
It teaches them that when we are quiet,we can hear and learn what is going on in the world around us.
It also helps the children to work on their balance, how to take turns, and work on their shapes.

How to put on our own jacket
We call it the dip and flip!
Tag at your toes, hands in the holes, now dip and flip!
