We are thankful for ........
This week we have been talking about what we are thankful for.  We decorated our Thankful tree.  Parents you will be happy to know that your children are very thank for their Mommies and Daddies!

Setting the table
Our little ones  are busy practicing setting the table.  This is a great practical life skill for young children to help develop independence.  Have them try help you set and clear the table at home.  It may not go so well in the beginning but after awhile it the reward will be well worth it!

Play Dough time.
While poking, rolling, and squishing play dough, children develop the small muscles in their fingers and hands. ... They also gain strength and improve dexterity in their hands and fingers, critical areas of physical development for writing, drawing, and other purposes. Plus it is just FUN!

Magnet Time
This week we introduced Magnets into our classroom.  You can use magnet play to help children increase their language skills by teaching them new magnet-related words, names, and shapes. Magnet play can also help children develop their coordination skills, increase their fine motor skills, and learn a variety of problem-solving skills.

Fall Tree
Mom and dad look at our fall tree that we made together ! So many colorful leaves.

Fall sensory Bins
This week we had fun exploring all things fall.  Our fall sensory bins smelled so good.

 Squirrel Walk

This week we read several books about squirrels.  We talked about how the squirrels  are getting ready for winter by burying acorns and building nest.  Tuesday we went on a squirrel walk to see some squirrels and collects some acorns.  Well we collected a lot of acorns but never saw any squirrels!!!!  But we did find a squirrels nest.

Shapes
We put a lot of hard work into rubbing and gluing  our geometric shapes

Dot Number Work
We are working on our numbers everyday.  We try and use them in everything we do.
Thursday we enjoyed using our dot art to work on our numbers.

Halloween Cuties
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our day so special. Mom's and Dad's thank you for getting us all dressed up and ready for our mission possible.  A special big thanks to Chris Rosser who had so many  creative projects, games and stories for our little one to enjoy. Our Class had a fantastic day.

Pumpkin Halloween Science Experiment
I made little pumpkins from baking soda and water and hid a special spider ring inside.  We then poured soap and vinegar over top and watch the magic happen.  Then using our forks we smashed our pumpkins to get our prize inside!
